Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
Heart & Sol Speech Therapy supports infants, toddlers, and young children up to 5 years old, as well as their caregivers. Services are designed for families seeking speech-language support that is child-led, play-based, and grounded in connection.
What areas do you support in speech therapy?
Speech-language therapy may address areas such as early communication, expressive and receptive language, play skills, social communication, and augmentative and alternative forms of communication.
Do you provide Early Intervention services?
Yes. Early Intervention speech-language services are available for eligible children ages 0–3 and are typically funded through state Early Intervention programs and Medicaid.
Where do services take place?
Services may be provided in natural environments such as the home or community settings. Providing therapy within a child’s everyday environments supports meaningful communication and carryover.
How is parent coaching different from speech therapy?
Speech therapy focuses on supporting a child’s communication development through direct services. Parent coaching sessions are caregiver-focused and provide guidance, education, and strategies to support communication at home. Parent coaching does not replace speech-language therapy services
Do you accept insurance
Yes, Heart and Sol currently accepts Medicaid.
Does submitting the contact form commit us to services?
No. Submitting the contact form does not commit you to services. It is simply a way to connect and explore whether Heart & Sol Speech Therapy may be a good fit for your family.
Are services offered in Spanish?
Yes! Please contact us for more information on Spanish or bi-lingual therapy.
