How It Works

Starting speech therapy doesn’t have to feel complicated. At Heart and Sol, the process is designed to be simple, supportive, and collaborative from start to finish.

1. Free Consultation

We start with a brief phone or video consultation to talk through your concerns, your child’s strengths, and determine whether speech therapy may be a good fit.

2. Initial Evaluation

If we move forward, an evaluation is completed to better understand your child’s communication, play, and interaction skills. This helps guide individualized goals and recommendations.

3. Therapy Plan

Together, we develop a therapy plan that reflects your child’s needs, your family’s priorities, and your child’s natural routines and environments.

4. Ongoing Therapy

Therapy sessions are play-based and relationship-centered, with caregivers actively involved. Strategies are shared to support communication throughout everyday life.

5. Monitor Progress

Goals and strategies are reviewed regularly and adjusted as your child grows, develops, and meets milestones.

6. Graduation

When your child is ready, we celebrate progress and plan for a smooth transition out of therapy or into the next appropriate support setting.
